Hari Teja reveals she contracted covid days before her delivery

Recently, TV personality and actress Hari Teja became a mother. In her latest video message, she revealed that she had tested positive for coronavirus seven days before her due date. 

“During my pregnancy, I was health-conscious. I ate nutritious food and did Yoga on a regular basis. A week before my delivery, I went for a health check-up. I was excited about my delivery and had a lot of dreams. A week before my delivery, much to my shock, everyone in our family tested positive for coronavirus. I too tested positive,” Hari Teja revealed. 

“Suddenly, it was all a blur. I had never imagined such a thing to happen to me during pregnancy. Perhaps, I was casual at some level. I was careful. Perhaps, I should have been more carefu,” she added. 

Hari Teja said that many doctors refused to admit her for delivery because of her covid status. She admitted herself in a hospital where doctors were ready to do C-Section on a covid patient. 

The celeb said that only her husband was by her side during the delivery. “I felt lonely because elders couldn’t be with us. My husband cared for me day in and day out. Soon after my delivery, my baby was taken away from me because I was a Covid patient. I couldn’t feed my baby. It hurt me a lot,” Hari Teja said. 

Hari Teja said that everyone in her immediate family have come out of the situation without complications. “However, there are members in the distant family who couldn’t find beds,” she said, urging everyone to adhere to covid discipline.
