Shalini debuted the film industry as a three year old child artist in the Malayalam movie ‘Ente Mamattikuttiyammakku’ for which she was awareded the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist. The actress later went on to act with big names like Vijay in ‘Kadhalukku Mariyadhai’, ‘Kannukkul Nilavu’, Ajith’s ‘Amarkalam’ and ‘Alaipayuthe’ with Madhavan.
Shalini who started her careeer as ‘Baby Shalini’ over the years created an extensive filmography for herself in Malayalam and Tamil languages. It is also interesting to note that Shalini was bitten by the love bug when she was working with Ajith for ‘Amarkalam’. From then onwards the couple has stood example by their long and happy relationship.
Ajith and Shalini are blessed with two children namely Anoushka and Aadvik, to whom they give in their maximum effort to bring up well mannered and exemplary behaviour. As the saying goes, there is always a woman behind a man’s success; and Shalini has stood by Ajith’s journey over the years.
