H. Vinoth boldly says ‘Varisu’ when asked about ‘Thunivu’ vs ‘Varisu’

As Pongal 2023 is drawing near the box office battle of the giants of Tamil cinema, Vijay and Ajith, is heating up each passing day to the highest degree.   Yes we are talking ‘Thunivu’ vs ‘Varisu’ which is hogging headlines in all forms of traditional and social media.  YouTube channels have started doing shows asking the public which of the two movies they will watch first.

Meanwhile in a recent interview director H. Vinoth who has helmed ‘Thunivu’ was posed the same question.  Without hesitation the sensational helmer stated that he will be watching ‘Varisu’ first.  He explained that as the director of ‘Thunivu’ he has already watched the film multiple times during postproduction and he would definately watch the movie that is going to challenge his.  The filmmaker’s bold answer has surprised both Ajith and Vijay fans as many others in the past have avoided the question or have given the diplomatic answer.

‘Thunivu’ has Ajith and Manju Warrier in the lead roles with music by Ghibran and is produced by Boney Kapoor.  ‘Varisu’ is directed by Vamshi Paidipally with music by Thaman and produced by Dil Raju.  The film has Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna as the lead pair.
