G.V.Prakash’s eighth film as a hero is his first with this veteran

Popular music composer G.V.Prakash Kumar has emerged as one of the bankable commercial heroes today. After the super hits 'Darling' and 'Trisha Illana Nayanthara', this year he has had two releases 'Pencil' and 'Enakku Innoru Per Irukku,' both getting mixed response from audience and critics. He is presently acting in 'Bruce Lee' and director M.Rajesh's 'Kadvul Irukkaan Kumaru' and also signed up for a few other projects.

Now he has signed to play the lead role in the fourth production venture of M.S.Sharavanan of Sri Green Productions which has produced the recent horror-comedy, 'Jackson Durai'. This film is yet to be titled and it will be currently referred to as 'G8' as this is the eighth film of GVP as an actor.

'G8' will have G.V.Prakash in lead role and he will also be doing the musical score. Sathyaraj and Thambi Ramaiah will be playing other important characters. This is Prakash's first film as a hero, with these two veteran actors. Robo Shankar, RJ Blade Shankar, RJ Mirchi Vijay, Arun Raja Kamaraj, will appear in supporting roles. The search is on for the heroine.

The film will be directed by debutant Shanmugam Muthusamy. P.K.Varma has taken charge of Cinematography. Vivek Harshan will handle the Editing. Dhilip Subbarayan will choreograph the stunts for this film touted to be a romantic actioner. Lyrics for the songs composed by G.V.Prakash will be penned by Na.Muthukumar, Umadevi and Arun Raja Kamaraj.

According to sources, GVP apparently plays a Muslim mechanic who gets lost in Kashi. He takes revenge for the killing of Sathyaraj. We will have to wait for some more time whether this piece of information about the plot of 'G8' is true or not.
