GV Prakash’s ‘Selfie’ censor report out

The upcoming Tamil action thriller ‘Selfie’ featuring GV Prakash Kumar and Gautham Vasudev Menon which is scheduled to release in theatres on April 1 has cleared the Censor Board. The film is directed by debutant Mathi Maran, a former associate of Vetri Maaran.

‘Selfie’, which also has Gautham Vasudev Menon in an important role with ‘Bigil’ fame Varsha Bollama playing the female lead, has been cleared by the Censor Board with a U/A certificate. The trailer of the film, which was released recently gave a glimpse of what the film deals with and it promises a gripping action thriller for the audience.

‘Selfie’ is touted to be a movie that revolves around the life of college students who are caught in the business of luring students through management quota. The music for the movie is composed by GV Prakash Kumar. Vishnu Rangasamy is handling the film’s cinematography and editing is done by S Ilayaraja.

GV Prakash was last seen in the critically acclaimed film ‘Bachelor’ alongside Divya Bharathi. This coming of age romantic drama was well received by the audience. He also has ‘Trap city’ and ‘Idimuzhakam’ in his pipeline.
