Gopichand donates Rs 10 lakh to CCC

Macho Star Gopichand is a man with a golden heart.  No more evidence required.  The action star, known for hits like ‘Sahasam’, has donated a sum of Rs 10 lakh to the Chiranjeevi-led Corona Crisis Charity, which is Tollywood’s richest coronavirus-time fund to help out cine workers.  (So far, more than Rs 8 Cr has been raised from various actors and actresses)

There is more from Gopichand.  “The actor has been sponsoring daily food to an orphanage of 1500 inmates for two months.  Also, he has already distributed daily needs and groceries to about 2000 families,” a statement from the actor’s team says.

Gopichand’s next is ‘Seetimaarr’, directed by Sampath Nandi.  The sports-based action drama sees the hero as the coach of an Andhra kabaddi team.  Predictably, Tamannaah Bhatia coaches a Telangana kabaddi team in the movie.  Tarun Arora of ‘Khaidi No. 150’ is the villain.  The mass-masala film has music by Mani Sharma.  Sampath Nandi has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues.
