Vijayashanthi recently made a comeback in movies after 13 years. As a woman in distress in ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’, her acting opposite Mahesh Babu has been applauded. The film, directed by Anil Ravipudi, has fetched handsome profits for distributors in the Telugu States.
At this juncture, Vijayashanthi has thanked the audience and her “army of fans” on the grand reception that the film has received. She counted the film as one of the most glorious moments in her career. Importantly, the politician said that she is not sure if she will be able to act in another movie, given her busy schedule as a public personality. “For now, I am taking a leave from you with contentment,” Vijayashanthi wrote on Twitter.
The former Lady Superstar did the film only because Anil’s narration was convincing and Mahesh Babu’s presence mattered. Can some other filmmaker steal her heart and make her don the greasepaint once again?
