Golden Globe 2019 Winners List

The prestigious 76th Golden Globe Awards 2019 was held at Beverly Hilton Hotel ballroom in Beverly Hills, California on Sunday.  Adam Sandberg and Sandra Oh hosted the gala affair that saw the cream of Hollywood television and movie industries in attendance.

There were quite a few surprises in the winners’ list and none more than ‘A Star is Born’ directed by and starring Bradley Cooper winning just one award for original song while it was nominated in five categories.   The highly popular ‘Spider Man : Into the Spider Verse’ won the Best Animated Film category.  The list of other winners in the major categories are

Best actor in a film comedy/musical - Christian Bale (Vice)

Best actress in a film comedy/musical - Olivia Colman (The Favourite)

Best TV drama - The Americans

Best TV comedy - The Kominsky Method

Best actor in a TV drama - Richard Madden (Bodyguard)

Best actress in a TV drama - Sandra Oh (Killing Eve)

Best actor in a TV comedy - Michael Douglas (The Kominsky Method)

Best actress in a TV comedy – Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvellous Mrs Maisel)

Best limited TV series - The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story

Best actor in alimited TV series - Darren Criss (The Assassination of Gianni Versace)

Best actress in alimited TV series - Patricia Arquette (Escape at Dannemora)
