Recently, actor Karthi had voiced out against the EIA draft of the central government through his Uzhavan Foundation, and urged people to think and send their views to the government to stop the draft.

Supporting this, his brother, actor Suriya also tweeted that people must not stay silent and silence in this issue can become dangerous and requested people to voice out to protect the environment.

Now, attacking this view of Suriya, actor and BJP member Gayathri Raghuram has alleged that the actor belongs to specific political party and is misleading people, and must expose himself. Her tweet read "Yes we need to protect ourselves from DMK lies. And actors who create confusion. Please directly support a party expose yourself. Don’t work in back hand.
