Gal Gadot announced the development of Wonder Woman 3 as fans debated whether or not they should be excited for this upcoming project, with the actress revealing her love for portraying Wonder Woman and saying that James Gunn and Peter Safran will work together on the new film.

But there are DC fans who worry about the continuity of the DC universe, especially with all these changes in casting and lineup. Characters like Batman, Superman along with Black Adam have been replaced by new movies such as Blue Beetle and Amanda Waller. Aquaman, Flash, Supergirl, Shazam, Hawkman also have their projects in-development.

If Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck's projects get dropped or cancelled on schedule then it will affect Wonder Woman's continuity causing potential continuity errors. With the ongoing Hollywood strike, production for Wonder Woman 3 is estimated to start no earlier than 2024. DC fans are left confused in regards to whatever official plans they have laid down as of now.

In the meantime, Aquaman 3 is set to release in 2023. Wonder Woman fans may have to stay anxious until 2026 for that third film to hit the theatres.
