Funny matrimonial ad of unemployed man goes viral

Some matrimonial ads can be downright hilarious.  You must have come across those ‘simple living, high thinking’ types who ironically also say that they are looking for a guy who earns not less than Rs 50 lakh.  

But the matrimonial ad of an unemployed man from Bihar is special in terms of its humour value.  The ad, which is going viral on social media, says that the future groom is looking for a bride who is not only “fair, beautiful, very loyal, very trustworthy, loving, and caring, but also brave, powerful, and rich”.  

If “brave and powerful” are not rib-tickling enough, what follows next is ridiculously funny.  “She must be extremely patriotic towards India with a keen desire to increase India’s military and sports capabilities.  She has to be an extremist but compassionate, an expert in child-raising and an excellent cook,” the ad says.  Note that the ad mentions the phrase “extremely patriotic… capabilities” in upper case!  

That someone who is not even working wants a woman with monumental capabilities is way too crazy. Meanwhile, everyone is scratching their heads over the man wanting a woman who can fortify India’s “military and sports capabilities”.  He surely wants his wife to run a parallel government.
