Google play movies to offer free movie services soon!

As per latest reports, Google is set to launch free to watch ad-based library of movies and TV shows on its Google Play Movies app soon. The new update of Google Play Movies will reportedly have a category of movies and TV shows with ads but free of cost.

It has been said that Google will follow a similar model as that of American streaming service Vudu which already gives free ad-supported content. As of now Google Play Movies app requires users to rent or purchase movies.

The APK teardown of version v4.18.37 of the Google Play Movies app has already hinted Google plans to launch a category of free-to-watch ad-based movies and TV shows. This feature will be an extension of YouTube Movies as both Google Play Movies and YouTube share from the same library.
