Siva Karthikeyan debut movie was planned by this female director!

Actor Siva Karthikeyan is one of the busiest actors in the industry and has a number of exciting movies like Ravikumar Rajendran’s Ayalaan, Nelson Dilipkumar’s Doctor etc. Now, an interesting detail on his debut has been revealed.

Siva Karthikeyan had made his debut as a lead in director Pandiraj’s Marina, but however he had previously acted in several short films and was also supposed to do a movie named Kurahl 86, directed by actress – director Lakshmi Ramakrishnan and Abinaya was supposed to play the female lead.

Lakshmi Ramakrishnan has revealed this interesting fact on Twitter now. She has tweeted “Not a short film! Meant to be my debut directorial with #SivaKarthikeyan, I was supposed to introduce him. After  I dropped the project he did #Marina.  His character in #kurahl786 had so much scope. But, he did great with respect to commercial success without that :). And #Abhinaya was to do the heroine’s role ???? I would love to work with her , InshahAllah, might do #Kurahl786 some day :)”.
