An unemployed Telangana youngster murdered his father to get his job in a public sector company on compassionate grounds. The shocking murder happened at Kotturu village of Peddapalli district. The deceased person was 58-year old M Narsaiah, who worked as a pump operator in Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL).
With few days left for Narsaiah to retire, his elder son M Tirupati (25), decided to kill him. With the support of his mother Tara and younger brother Rakesh (19), Tirupati who has completed polytechnic course and was searching job planned the murder. Tirupati sent his mother and brother to Godavarikhani on May 23, had liquor and on May 25 strangulated his father to death when he was in sleep.
Tirupati slept in his grandmother’s house after the murder and informed relatives the next day that his father died of a cardiac arrest. To process the job application, a First Information Report (FIR) was needed and approached Dharmaram police station. Sub-Inspector Prem Kumar went for investigation, and sent the body for autopsy out of suspicion and found Narsaiah was strangulated. Later Tirupati confessed that he murdered his father for his job.
