Emraan Hashmi injured while enacting stunts for ‘Goodachari 2’

Emraan Hashmi, known for his charismatic roles, sustained a deep cut on his neck while performing a daring action sequence for his upcoming film “Goodachari 2” in Hyderabad. The injury occurred during a stunt involving a jump, according to reports. A photo of the injury, showcasing the visible blood, has surfaced online.

Sunny Khanna, a business associate of the actor, confirmed that Emraan is expected to return to Mumbai on early Tuesday, October 8th. While the actor has not yet commented publicly on the incident, his dedication to the film is evident as he continues to push boundaries for his role.

“Goodachari 2,” a highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster Telugu film “Goodachari,” features Adivi Sesh in the lead. The film’s makers welcomed Emraan Hashmi onboard earlier this year, with the actor expressing his excitement about joining the spy thriller.

In February 2024, Emraan revealed the film’s announcement poster, captioning it: “The biggest spy franchise gets a blockbuster addition. Boarding mission #G2. Shoot in progress.”

The original “Goodachari” starred Shobhita Dhulipala and Jagapathi Babu alongside Adivi Sesh.

Emraan’s most recent screen appearance was in the Disney + Hotstar series “Showtime,” created by Sumit Roy. The show featured a stellar cast including Mouni Roy, Vijay Raaz, Shriya Saran, Rajeev Khandelwal, and Naseeruddin Shah.
