He mentioned this as an unexpected and notable event, yet he didn't specify the parties involved. His representatives declined to offer further comments. Johnson has previously mulled over a presidential bid but expressed reluctance due to his wish for increased time with his daughters.

MSNBC reported that Johnson's discussions with lawmakers centered on his efforts to bolster military recruitment. Senators present included Mark Kelly, Tammy Duckworth, Lindsey Graham, and Jon Tester.

Additionally, director Christopher Nolan was spotted at the Capitol, noted by HuffPost's Igor Bobic. Nolan was in Washington, D.C., to receive an award from the Federation of American Scientists.
