After the grand success of MCU's phase 4 comprising of 'WandaVision', 'Loki', 'What If…?', and 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' the upcoming film 'Doctor Strange in the multiverse of Madness' is all set to discover the multiverse in a full-length movie.
The first trailer broke the internet, offering a glimpse of the expansive story. While fans are waiting for more information, reports revealed the blockbuster’s runtime to be a whopping 148 minutes. This would make Multiverse of Madness one of the longest movies in the MCU after Avengers: Infinity War (149 minutes), Eternals (157 minutes), and Avengers: Endgame (181 minutes).
Given the sheer scale of the 'Multiverse of Madness' concept, a lengthy runtime feels almost essential. Following on from the events of No Way Home, Doctor Strange is forced to confront the consequences of his actions after he tears down the barrier between universes with the help of Wanda Witch.
Director Sam Raimi’s Multiverse of Madness sees Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Benedict, and Chiwetel Ejiofor all reprise their roles from 2016’s Doctor Strange. They’re joined by Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch and Xochitl Gomez making her MCU debut as America Chavez
