‘Distributors feel Kousalya Krishnamurthy will be a hit’

‘Kousalya Krishnamurthy’ has Aishwarya Rajesh as a sporting champion. Starring Rajendra Prasad in a supporting role, the village-based sports drama has Kollywood star Sivakarthikeyan in a special role.  Directed by Bheemaneni Srinivas Rao, it will hit the screens on August 23.  

KS Rama Rao, the film’s presenter, has said that distributors are happy with the release date.  “Distributors are of the view that ‘KK’ will be a big hit since no big films releases are there on August 23.  It’s Aishwarya’s film all the way.  The songs have been hits,” he said.  

The director said that they made the film with passion.  “This is a content-driven flick.  Everybody who has watched it so far has loved it totally.  The pre-release event will be held on August 18,” he added.  

Also featuring Jhansi, Karthik Raju, CVL Narasimha Rao, comedian Vennela Kishore, ‘Rangasthalam’ Mahesh, Vishnu (‘Taxiwala’ fame), and Ravi Prakash, the film has been produced by KA Vallabha and presented by KS Rama Rao.  Its story is by Arunraja Kamraja.  With music by  Dhibu Ninan Thomas, its cinematography is by I Andrew.  Dialogues are by Hanumaan Choudary.
