Suriya’s Diwali gift for directors association!

Actor Suriya had two releases this year, he had started the year with the highly anticipated political entertainer NGK directed by Selvaraghavan and co-starring Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh, and the movie had him playing a young politician, and his second release of the year was Kaappaan.

Kaappaan was directed by KV Anand, and released on September 20 and is running successfully in select centres. Next the actor will be seen in Sudha Kongara directed Soorarai Pottru and also has films lined with Siva, Hari, Bala, Gautham Menon and is in talks with Vetrimaran too.

While Suriya’s kind gesture to gift gold coins after the shooting of his films to crew members is well known, the actor has now donated 10 lakhs to  Tamil Nadu Film directors association as Diwali special gift, and the actor had given the fund to the general secretary, director RV Udhayakumar.
