Thalapathy Vijay will be next seen in the family entertainer 'Varisu' directed by Vamshi Paidipally. Touted to be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, the makers quashed the rumours regarding the delay in the film's release with a special poster on Diwali and confirmed once again that Varisu will hit the screens on Pongal 2023.

We already reported to you that the 'Varisu' shooting was entirely wrapped up on Saturday. Now, the latest set of stills from the movie has surfaced over the internet, which is now spreading like a wildfire. The Mersal actor looks so fresh and young in the new pictures and several BTS making images were also revealed.

It is worth mentioning that director Vamshi Paidipally has given his first interview about Varisu to a popular Tamil magazine. In the interaction, he said, "Varisu is a proper Tamil film. It is a family story at the baseline but it has all the elements that Thalapathy Vijay sir and his fans would expect. SS Thaman's songs are going to be fire for sure." Varisu stars Rashmika Mandanna, Yogi Babu, Prakash Raj, Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Shaam, Srikanth, Ganesh Venkatram, SJ Suryah, Jayasudha, Khushbhu, Sangeetha, Samyukatha and others.
