Director Shankar for the past three decades has held his place as one of the top filmmakers of Indian cinema. Especially his unique stamp is the grandeur he provides to his frames that sets him apart from others.

Shankar is currently directing 'RC15' starring Ram Charan Teja and Kiara Advani and produced by Dil Raju. He is set to resume Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' later this year followed by the Hindi remake of 'Anniyin' starring Ranveer Singh.

Meanwhile Shankar's daughter Aditi Shankar has made her debut as heroine in the upcoming film 'Viruman' starring Karthi and has also signed 'Corona Kumar' opposite Simbu.

The hot news is that Shankar's son Arjith is all set to make his debut as hero soon in a new movie. It is said that Shankar's former associate and acclaimed director Balaji Shakthivel of 'Kadhal' and 'Vazhakku Enn 18/9' fame will be helming the project.
