The Indian population in general and TN, in particular, have been caught in the grip of the coronavirus for the past five months and most normal life has been disrupted completely. After the central government announced the fourth phase of unlocking from September 1st the Tamil Nadu government too followed suit and announced several relaxations in the lockdown.
Film shootings, religious gatherings, malls, showroom chains, parks, entertainment zones, government, and private offices have all been allowed to function with almost a hundred percent staff with a few restrictions.
Social activists are worried that the public would take this as complete freedom from COVID 19 and may drop their guard and lead a normal life which could spell widespread disaster.
Director Selvaraghavan has posted a wise piece of advice with a photo of Dhanush in his famous Kokki Kumar character from in 'Pudhupettai' wearing a mask. He has also written his famous line from the film in Tamil "Nowadays it is most important to just stay alive Kumaru". Truly the need of the hour when the nation is unlocking during the most uncertain times in modern history.
