‘F2’ ends on a highly positive note. It anticipates the coming of a sequel, titled ‘F3’. But you are wrong if you thought writer-director Anil Ravipudi is ready with a script to make the sequel.
“Venkatesh garu and Varun are ready to do if a sequel is made. Nothing is finalized as of now. I should first write a script,” he says.
There is a reason why ‘F3’ may not happen anytime soon. Anil doesn’t want to make an out-and-out comedy next. “I want to try something different. If I repeat the same genre, the audience may find it too sugary. My next film will have comedy but it won’t be a full-on comedy,” Anil says.
Since Venky and the Mega hero have already done this genre, it would be good if there is a gap of at least two years between ‘F2’ and ‘F3’ so that it won’t be tiresome.
