Both have expressed the same in many stages and both have directed Ulaganayagan once. Now, the fans are discussing who made the best fanboy film.

Gautham Menon made “Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu” in 2006 with Kamal Haasan and Jyothika while Lokesh Kanagaraj delivered the industry hit “Vikram” in 2022 for his idol. While Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu had a re-release on June 23, a Twitter user posted, “Looks like GVM @menongautham has won the battle for Best Fan Boy Director for me.
