Actress Nikki Galrani, who has acted in Telugu movies ‘Krishnashtami’ and ‘Malupu’ and Tamil films like ‘Darling’, is in the news for being a victim of burglary. She on Tuesday lodged a complaint at the Annasalai police station in Chennai against a youngster named Dhanush, a former staff member of hers.
According to the complaint, Dhanush, aged 19, was working at her house in Royapettah, Chennai. He allegedly stole clothes and an expensive camera belonging to the actress. The model-turned-actress sought police action against him. The cops pressed into action and found that the missing boy was hiding in his friend’s house in Tirupur. Dhanush was arrested and the stolen items recovered.
Police sources have informed that Nikki has decided to withdraw her complaint and request no further action against Dhanush on humanitarian grounds.
The incident has highlighted the need for celebs to keep an eye on the antecedents of the people they employ. It always helps to do a background check, as corporate entities do while recruiting new hires.
