The multi-talented Dhanush's debut directorial venture 'Pa Paandi' will be hitting the screens this Friday (April 14) for Tamil New Year.

Two days ahead of the release, Dhanush who has been working round the clock in multiple projects for the past several months has resumed shooting for director Vetrimaran's dream project 'Vada Chennai'.

'Vada Chennai' will be a trilogy film dealing with the gangster history of North Chennai and the shooting of the first part commenced in June last year. After having some lengthy schedules the crew took a long break as Dhanush became busy with multiple project, and completed his other commitments.

Now that 'Pa Paandi' is ready for release and his acting cum production venture 'VIP 2' shooting has been completed, the shooting of 'Vada Chennai' has resumed today and Dhanush has also joined the team.

The film stars Dhanush, Amala Paul. Andrea, Kishore, Karunas, Daniel Balaji, Pawan and many others.
