Dhanush the number one allrounder in Kollywood has proved himself in several fields such as acting, singing, lyric writing, film producing and directing. He also found success on debut as director with the 2017 mature romantic comedy 'Pa Paandi' starring Raj Kiran and Revathi.

A few years back Dhanush started his second directorial venture 'Naan Rudhran' that had Nagarjuna, Prasanna, Sarathkumar, Srikanth, Aditi Rao Hydari and SJ Suryah. The film produced by Sri Thenandal Studios was stalled due to various issues after the first shooting schedule.

It is now reported by reliable sources that Dhanush is all set to direct a new movie produced by Sun Pictures that will go on floors in early 2023. It is said that Vishnu Vishal will be playing a parallel lead role in the project that will be announced officially soon.

Incidentally, Vishnu Vishal is also playing the lead role along with Vikranth in Dhanush's estranged wife Aishwarya Rajinikanth's 'Laal Salaam'. The film has Superstar Rajinikanth in a pivotal supporting character.
