Actor Dhanush, who was last seen in the pongal release Pattas playing dual roles has next completed the movie Jagame Thanthiram directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Y Not studios and Reliance entertainment.

The movie was suppose to release on May 1 but has been postponed due to Coronavirus pandemic. It has been said that this movie revolves around a gangster in London played by Hollywood actor James Cosmo, who brings a Tamil gangster Dhanush to tackle his problems with Indian gangsters in London, and what happens ultimately when Dhanush himself becomes James Cosmo's enemy.

This has been rumoured to be the plot of Jagame Thanthiram and is making the rounds on social media. Jagame Thanthiram also stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, Kalaiyarasan, Joju George and has music by Santhosh Narayanan. The makers have confirmed that the movie will release first in theatres.
