Recently, the hit song Pandarathi Puranam from Dhanush’s upcoming film, Karnan directed by Mari Selvaraj got into trouble after a person from Madurai filed a welfare petition against the song in Madurai High court.
Following this initiation of legal action against the film’s makers, censor board and YouTube as the petitioner claimed that the song Pandarathi Puranam insults communities in the state and also demanded the removal of the song now a major change has happened.
Mari Selvaraj took it to social media to reveal that to not hurt the sentiments of people, the song has been now changed to Manjanathi Puranam and the previous name of Pandarathi Puranam will be removed from youtube soon.
