Dhanush is shooting on the Eiffel Towers in Paris for the last leg of shooting for his Hollywood debut ‘The Extraordinary Journey of The Fakir’ directed by Ken Scott and co-starring Bérénice Béjo, Barkhad Abed, Erin Moriarty and Abel Jafri. The story adapted from a novel by Romain Puértolas , Dhanush plays a simple man who journeys the world and finds love in Paris, danger with Somalian immigrants in England, becomes a star dancer in Rome and a grand adventure across the Mediterranean in an air balloon.
‘The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir’ is a co-production of France, India and Belgium and Sony Pictures International has already acquired the rights for UK and France. The film is planned as March or May 2018 release worldwide.
