Dhanush is celebrating his 39th birthday today, July 28 and social media is filled with wishes from his friends and fans. The makers of his upcoming film Vaathi recently unveiled the first look poster from the film, in which he is shown as an educator on a mission in his next. The versatile actor can be seen burning the midnight oil amidst a stack of books.

Following this yet another poster from the film was released today by the makers. In the new poster, Dhanush was seen standing amidst a crowd full of kids while standing in front of a statue of Saraswati, the Hindu Goddess who symbolises knowledge and learning. Sharing the poster the team also revealed that the teaser of this film will be unveiled at 6 pm today.

Directed by Venky Atluri, the project will see Samyuktha Menon as the female lead, along with Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani, Thotapalli Madhu, Narra Srinivas, Pammi Sai, Hyper Aadhi, Shara, Aadukalam Naren, Ilavarasu, Motta Rajendran, Hareesh Peradi, and Praveena in prominent roles, apart from the rest.

Dhanush also has a period film in his kitty. He is set to feature in filmmaker Arun Matheswaran's Captain Miller. The movie made on a grand scale is a period film set against the backdrop of the 1930s-40s and will be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
