It was announced before two years that actor Dhanush will be joining hands with director Ramkumar of Mundasupatti and Ratsasan fame for a new movie, and this announcement was made after the blockbuster success of Ratsasan.
While this movie is is to be produced by Sathyajyothi Films which produced Pattas starring Dhanush and is producing D43 with the actor directed by Karthick Naren, the pre-production works have been taking place for around 2 years.
Reportedly the team is planning to make the movie as a pan Indian project with a Hindi version too, as Dhanush is acting in Hindi movies as well. The shooting of this movie directed by Ramkumar will begin in June 2021.
