Sensational 19 year old actress joins Dhanush’s milestone movie ‘D50’

Dhanush’s 50th film as a hero ‘D50’ is also his second directorial venture after ‘Pa Paandi’ and the shooting is progressing at a brisk pace.  The film already boasts of an ensemble cast of top stars such as Amala Paul, S.J. Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan and Selvaraghavan.

It is now reported that sensational young actress Anikha Surendran has joined the cast of ‘D50’ which is said to be titled ‘Raayan’.  The 19 year old gained fame playing Ajith Kumar’s daughter in the super hits ‘Yennai Arindhaal’ and ‘Viswasam’.  She is currently playing one of the leads in Hip Hop Tamil Aadhi’s ‘PT. Sir’ and an untitled film with Mugen Rao.

‘D50’ is produced on a grand scale by Sun Pictures with A.R. Rahman scoring the music and Velraj handling the camera.  The story is set in North Chennai backdrop and deals with siblings who are gangsters played by S.J. Suryah, Sundeep Kishan and Dhanush while Dushara plays their kid sister.
