D43, which is actor Dhanush's crime thriller with filmmaker Karthick Naren of 'Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru' fame, has resumed its shoot in Hyderabad. The film features Malavika Mohanan as the heroine.

Produced by TG Thyagarajan, the untitled flick comes with an ensemble cast. 'RRR', 'Krack' and 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' actor Samuthirakani has got a pivotal role. Also featuring Smruthi Venkat, Master Mahendran, Krishna Kumar and Jaya Prakash, the film will hit the screens later this year.

Dhanush's most recent release, 'Jagame Thandhiram', is streaming on Netflix. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the gangster comedy actioner was a direct OTT release.

The 'Raghuvaran B.Tech. actor will be acting in a Telugu-Tamil-Hindi trilingual directed by Sekhar Kammula next. Buzz is that the film has got political elements and is based on an incident that took place in Tamil Nadu. It will go on the floors later this year and will hit the screens next year. There are also rumours that Tollywood director Venky Atluri has convinced Dhanush to act in a Telugu-Tamil film. The project is yet to be confirmed officially.
