Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth responds to Dhanush calling her ‘Friend’

Dhanush and Aishwaryaa made headlines once again as the former on the release of her music video, Payani. He called Aishwarya his ‘friend,’ which caught everyone’s attention. Though the couple seems to have gracefully moved on, their fans are requesting them to reunite.

Yesterday, Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth released her music video, Payani, in four languages. Dhanush shared the YouTube link to the song and congratulated her. He wrote, “Congrats my friend @ash_r_dhanush on your music video #payani  God bless (sic).”

What caught everyone’s attention was how Dhanush called Aishwaryaa his ‘friend.’ She thanked him and wrote, “Thank you Dhanush.Godspeed (sic).” Following this many of their fans flooded the comments section with requests for their reunion.

Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth and Dhanush got married in a traditional ceremony on November 18, 2004. They are parents to two sons, Yatra and Linga. After 18 years of togetherness, the couple decided to call it quits. They did not reveal the reason behind their split.
