Dhanush and Simbhu to contest in Nadigar Sangam election?

The latest news doing rounds in Kollywood circles about Nadigar Sangam election issue has come as a big surprise to many. While young actors Vishal and Karthi are up in arms against the present office-bearers of the sangam and have already announced their intention to contest in the elections, it is being said that Sarathkumar the current president of the sangam is trying to rope in Dhanush and Silambarasan in the contest on behalf of the present office-bearers to show their strength to the opposition team.

Sarathkumar has produced Dhanush’s recent film ‘Maari’ and in the press meet ahead of the film’s release on Thursday, the bonhomie between the two actors was evident. Simbhu who was once considered as a rival of Dhanush has been sharing a great sense of bromance with Dhanush nowadays. These facts give credence to the news that Dhanush and Simbhu will be pitted against Vishal and Karthi in the election foray. However, neither Dhanush nor Simbhu have reacted to this news and things will be clear only after they come out in open about this.

Meanwhile Vishal who has been visiting various cities to canvass with the drama artistes who are members of the Nadigar Sangam has welcomed this latest development. He has said that he welcomes Dhanush and Simbhu contesting in the elections and also announced that veteran actor Nasser will be nominated for the President post from their side.
