The multi-faceted star Dhanush is currently busy with multiple domestic and international projects. While his Hollywood debut 'The Gray Man' is awaiting release on Netflix, the actor's upcoming Bollywood film 'Atrangi Re' is all set to premiere on Disney+Hotstar from December 24 coinciding Christmas.

The trailer of Atrangi Re just landed on the internet. Dhanush, who debuted in Hindi with Raanjhanaa, is playing the lead in the film co-starring Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan. Aanand L Rai, who directed Dhanush in Raanjhanaa, has helmed this movie while Himanshu Sharma wrote the story, screenplay & dialogues.

The video shows that the southern superstar Dhanush is essaying the role of a Tamil youngster, who unexpectedly gets married to Sara Ali Khan, in Atrangi Re. Bollywood's top hero Akshay Kumar makes his entry only halfway through the trailer. The 3-minute-long trailer gives us a wide view of the entertaining and emotional premise set in the movie.

Atrangi Re's score and soundtrack are composed by the Isai Puyal A. R. Rahman making his second collaboration with Aanand L Rai after Raanjhanaa. The production house decided to have a Tamil version for the movie as well owing to Dhanush’s massive fan base in the state. The Tamil version is titled Galatta Kalyanam.
