Deverakonda as racer, Malavika as musician

Vijay Deverakonda has signed up to do a new movie titled ‘Hero’.  It will be directed by debutant Anand Annamalai.  Malavika Mohanan is the female lead.

Speaking to a national daily, Malavika has revealed that the ‘Geetha Govindam’ star will be seen as a motorcycle racer in the movie.  ”And I will be seen as a musician.  I am excited about shooting for ‘Hero’,” the Mumbai-based actress, who was seen in Rajinikanth’s ‘Petta’ earlier this year, says.

Deverakonda, who awaits the release of ‘Dear Comrade’ on July 26, is reportedly learning motorcycle racing for the movie.  ’Hero’ will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.  Music is by Pradeep Kumar.
