Finding a Once-in-a-Lifetime Sisterly Bond in Nizhal Kudai

The audio launch event for the upcoming film ‘Nizhar Kudai’, starring Devayani, was held yesterday (April 24). The movie, produced by Jyothi Shiva under Darshan Films and directed by Siva Arumugam, features Devayani in the lead role. Alongside her, Vijit plays the male lead, Kanmani the female lead, and other key roles are played by Ilavarasu, Rajkapoor, Vadivukkarasi, and Neelima. The film is scheduled to release in theaters on May 9.

During the launch event, Devayani’s brother and actor Nakul spoke emotionally about his sister. He said, “I feel proud to be Devayani Akka’s brother. I have seen her hard work since childhood. She is always humble and never had an attitude.”

“To me, she is like a mother. She is calm, composed, and this movie’s character suits her perfectly. I’ve never seen anyone like her. She balances career and family beautifully and picks her roles wisely. She even learned direction for three months and directed a short film titled ‘Kaikkutty Rani’, which has been screened at several film festivals. Devayani is not just an actress now, she is also a director, and I’m proud to say that. You are the best, Akka!” said Nakul, leaving Devayani emotional during the event.
