‘Darbar’: A very good release in Telugu States

‘Darbar’ is all set to hit the screens on January 9.  Starring Superstar Rajinikanth, this cop action-drama is directed by AR Murugadoss.

Trade circles are highly optimistic about the movie.  Since it’s the first Sankranthi release, a very good number of screens have been pocketed by the movie.  On January 9 and 10, the Rajini movie will have a sway over the box-office in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.  In Hyderabad’s Prasads Multiplex, for example, 25 shows will be screened on these dates.

As the festival season’s first release, ‘Darbar’ has an advantage.  Producer NV Prasad is releasing the film amid expectations from the movie.

Starring Nayanthara as the heroine, Nivetha Thomas as Rajini’s daughter and Suneil Shetty as the antagonist, the film’s music is by Anirudh Ravichander.
