'Dahini: The Witch' lands yet another international award

Acclaimed filmmaker Rajesh Touchriver's social thriller 'Dahini: The Witch' recently made it to the Swedish International Film Festival. Within days, there is yet another feather in its cap.
The film has won the Best Feature Film Award at the Titan International Film Festival, Australia. Come January 21, 2023, 'Dahini' will be conferred with the award at the famous Palace Chauvel Cinema, Sydney.
A few months ago, 'Dahini' fetched recognition for itself as the Best International Feature Film at Pacific Beach International Festival. Padma Shree recipient Sunitha Krishnan, one of the producers of 'Dahini', is proud of her film doing well in the film festival circuit.
Starring Tanishtha Chatterjee and JD Chakravarthi, the film also features Ashique Hussain, Badrul Islam, Angana Roy and others. Produced by Orion Pictures International Pvt. Ltd. and SunTouch Productions, its narrative structure and central message mirror the conscientious thinking of the National Award-winning director, Rajesh.
Cinematographer Noushad Shereef, Sound Designer Ajith Abraham George, and Background Score composer George Joseph are getting accolades for their work.
