In a surprising piece of news, a chariot that is coated in golden colour has been found on the shore at Srikakulam coast. As per reports, Cyclone Asani has brought the chariot, which looks like an ancient temple of the South-East Asian variety, to the shores.
Reports say that the chariot must have come from either Malaysia or Thailand. Going by an inscription on it, the chariot was used for some religious ritual in January this year.
Commenting on the same, Ujjaval Shah, a Twitter user, wrote, "From Myanmar, many coastal towns of Northern Myanmar are dotted with beautiful pagodas probably drifted from there. Astonishing." Twitter user Murali Bulusu tweeted, "Interestingly this one is looking perfectly fine in spite of rough seas. Designed well and built very well."
Many are reminded of the climax of Kamal Haasan's 'Dasavatharam', which too had a similar chariot scene amid a Tsunami.
