‘Culprit Pawan Kalyan has forged for cheating, harming reputation’

A group of journalists has complained against Pawan Kalyan at Banjara Hills police station.  The complaint says that the actor-politician has spread falsehoods about TV9.  It adds that Pawan has shared tampered videos that TV9 had never aired.  Thereby, he tried to negatively affect the channel’s credibility.

Cases have been filed under IPC Sections 469, 504 and 506.  Preliminary investigation has reportedly concluded that Pawan did indeed tamper with electronic evidence.  

Journalist Gundelly Rajesh observes in the complaint that the culprit (Pawan), his followers and Jana Sena’s activists have conspired together and committed forgery for purposes of cheating, and harming the reputation and using forged electronic record as genuine for the purpose of cheating and harming the reputation of journalists in general and TV9 in particular.

The long complaint says that a number of Pawan’s supporters have been calling up TV9 office and abusing Kathi Mahesh, its CEO Ravi Prakash, and others using foul language.
