Chennai Super Kings batsman Suresh Raina, who was invited to join the commentary during the opening game of the fifth season of Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL), revealed that he watched Vijay’s Master in Hindi (dubbed) along with his daughter and that they both loved the film.
“I really enjoyed Vijay’s Master. I watched it in Hindi dubbed with my daughter, and both of us loved it,” he said. Raina, who announced his retirement from international cricket in August last year, is looking forward to playing with Chennai Super Kings in the remainder of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League in the United Arab Emirates, scheduled to be held between September 19 and October 10.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Master, which was originally scheduled to be released on April 9, 2020, hit the theatres on January 13, 2021 instead due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Bankrolled by Xavier Britto under the XB creaters banner, Master also featured Arjun Das, Malavika Mohanan, Shanthanu, and Andrea in significant roles in the film.
