In the 92nd Academy Awards held in Los Angeles last week, the South Korean movie Parasite directed by Bong Joon Ho surprised everyone by winning four Oscar awards - Best Picture, Best director, Best Original Screenplay and Best International Film.

After the Oscar win, there were a lot of talks on the movie that Parasite's story has been copied from the KS Ravikumar movie Minsara Kanna starring Vijay, Khushbu and Ramba, and it was also reported that PL Thenappan who holds the rights of Minsara Kanna is planning to file a plagiarism case against Parasite team with the help of an international lawyer.

While many netizens have been calling Parasite a copy and some are trolling this move by Minsara Kanna team, Thamizh Padam director CS Amudhan has trolled by tweeting on plans to sue the team of Hollywood movie John Wick "It has been brought to my notice that certain elements of John Wick like his dog being killed to bring him back to his old job, strongly resemble key plot points of Tamizh Padam 2. We will keep all our legal options open."
