Russia completes human trials for COVID-19 vaccine!

Medical firms and scientists across the world are racing to find a vaccine to protect people from the coronavirus and six candidates are now in phase three of human trials. Now, Russia has claimed that their candidate has completed all three phases of human clinical trials successfully and will start producing the vaccine soon.
At the moment, Russia has two COVID-19 vaccine candidates, with one of them developed by the Vektor State Research Center of Virology and Biotechnology and another produced by Gamaleya Scientific Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology in association with Russian Defence Ministry.
It has now been reported that the human trials of the Gam-COVID-Vac Lyo which is the vaccine developed by Gamaleya Scientific Research Institute are complete. The the vaccine will be registered between 10 to 12 August and will be available within three to seven days of registration, as said by Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko. The vaccine production will begin in September.
