An NDTV report has said that a man who was advised by doctors to quarantine himself got married on Thursday in Warangal. The wedding event saw 1000 people in attendance.

As reported by journalist Uma Sudhir, the man returned from France on March 12. He was tested for Coronavirus. The result came negative. As per protocol, he was asked to be on self-quarantine along with his friend for safety reasons. "Yesterday's wedding was attended by over 1000, including VIPs. After coming to know about this, the Chief Minister's Office and Minister KT Rama Rao have intervened and are learned to have asked the groom to cancel his reception scheduled for Friday evening," Uma Sudhir reports.

"KTR has this very seriously and has reacted immediately to minimise health risk, including presumably asking for reception to be rescheduled," she reports for NDTV.
