6 more patients test positive for coronavirus in Tamil Nadu, total number increases

The global number of coronavirus affected people now stands at 533,015 with 24,095 deaths and 19,656 in critical condition. The positive is that 124,387 people have recovered or discharged from the hospitals. India at noon today has 747 cases which is a jump of 20 in the last twelve hours with 20 deaths reported.
Tamil Nadu has reported fresh cases of 6 more people who have tested positive for the COVID 19 taking up the total number of infected to 35. A 25 year old female patient has been admitted to the Ariyalur hospital in Chennai, Two persons from Erode have been admitted who were contacts of a patient there and another person from Chennai who was also a contact of another patient in the city.
It has been once again emphasized by worldwide medical experts that staying at home, social distancing and practicing hygiene by washing hands regularly with soap and water is the best way to combat the deadly coronavirus. The Indian government has locked down the country under section 144 till the 14th of April hopefully by which time a solution would be made to better manage the pandemic.
