Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, the wife of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced via social media on Saturday that she has recovered from coronavirus, two weeks after testing postive for the Coronavirus.

It was on March 12 that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's office announced that his wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau had tested positive for COVID-19 following her sickness after a trip to London. Now Sophie has revealed her recovery via Facebook.

Sophie's Facebook post read "I am feeling so much better and have received the all clear from my physician and Ottawa Public Health. From the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you to everyone who reached out to me with their well wishes. And to everyone who is suffering right now, I send you all my love." Justin Trudeau who had been giving conferences outside his residence will continue to remain in isolation despite Sophie's recovery.
