MP Karthi Chidambaram tests positive for Coronavirus!

After the announcement yesterday that Tamil Nadu governor Banwari Lal Purohit, BJP leader Amit Shah and Karnataka Chief minister BS Yeddyurappa tested positive for Coronavirus, now another prominent politician has tested positive for Coronavirus.

Former union finance minister P Chidambaram’s son and Sivaganga MP Karthi Chidambaram has announced via social media that he has tested positive for the novel Coronavirus and has been advised to be in home quarantine.

Karthi Chidambaram tweeted “I have just tested positive for #Covid. My symptoms are mild and as per medical advice I am under home quarantine. I would urge all those who have recently been in contact with me to follow medical protocol.”
